WFP gains FIVE nominations for Jerusalem Awards

Whistling Frog Productions (WFP) have had five of their productions nominated for Jerusalem Awards this year.

The Full Breakfast , WFP's weekly breakfast show on Pulse Gold in West Yorkshire, has been nominated in the Perspectives category for programmes with Christian content on commercial or BBC radio.

Three items have been nominated in the Shorts category (a feature no more than 3-minutes long):

• 'God After the Tone: Big Brother , Counting Sheep , Eternity '
• 'Ark News '
• 'Tommy's Mum: Halloween '
  

A longer feature on 'The Lighthouse Group' has been nominated in the Good Friday 08 category for features broadcast on Good Friday on commercial, BBC or internet radio.

The Jerusalem Awards is a programme for Christian broadcasters in radio run by Jerusalem Productions. The one essential is that nominated programmes reflect the Christian faith.

Set up in 1990, Jerusalem Productions is a media co-production company. Its primary aim is to increase understanding and knowledge of the Christian religion and to promote Christian values, via the broadcast media, to as wide an audience as possible.
