Many broadcast sites require a special antenna capable of broadcasting on a specific frequency. Even when given a short timeframe, the Technology Centre can assemble an antenna and deliver it alongside other equipment. The antennas are designed for durability, reliability, and little or no maintenance even in harsh environments. Antennas are frequency-adjustable in the field, which saves additional cost to our ministry partners in the event of a change in operating frequency.
The most common antenna to date is the double 5/8ths, but we
also offer four-bay dipole, four-bay quad, quad gamma match, and circular
polarized designs. A low-power shortwave antenna has been designed for tropical
band use, and several designs have been completed for unique FM applications in
Romania.
Other designs include an AM broadcast antenna for Cambodia, a reduced
profile low-power shortwave antenna for the Democratic Republic of Congo, and a
high-power shortwave antenna for Monrovia, Liberia.
