Bible Institute of the Air
Who are we?
The Bible Institute of the Air is a ministry of HCJB Global. For over
50 years, this ministry has been helping people go deeper in their
study of God’s Word.
What do we do?
We promote the study of the Bible because we
believe it has the power to transform lives. We offer 21 courses in
Spanish, which include studies of the Bible, Christian doctrine and
ministry.
Radio Programmes
The goal of the radio programmes in Spanish and Quichua is to help and
encourage those who want to study the Bible. The subjects taught on the
radio are based on the lessons in the advanced level courses and give
the student a broader perspective of each subject.

Modes of Study
Correspondence
The series of 21 courses in Spanish can be studied in coordination with the radio programmes or independently.
Quichua
In January of 2003, HCJB Global began producing the Bible Institute of the Air
radio programme in the language of the Quichua people of the Andean
highlands. The students study by correspondence and meet once a month
for a class session, using the materials in Spanish.
Extension Courses
The advanced level courses are also
taught as extension courses. The students meet for classes and have
reading assignments, homework and a final project to complete outside
of class. Each course lasts 8-10 weeks.
Students who complete all 18 of the extension courses receive a
diploma, which is recognized by the Seminario Sudamericano (SEMISUD) in
Quito, Ecuador, and Miami International Seminary (MINTS) in Miami,
Florida.
Internet
Three of our advanced level courses may be
taken free of charge via Internet. For more information about these
